A very special filly, Xena was always going to be retained as a competition horse and play a valuable role in our breeding program with a pedigree filled with Grand Prix genetics.

Her sire is Belissimo M is in a class of his own as a riding horse producer - sire of nine stallion performance test winners and four runner up among so far 50 licensed stallions, as well as 85 state premium mares. Belissimo M himself has achieved victories in Grand Prix under Hayley Beresford and finished the Olympic qualification for London 2012 as best horse of the Australian team.

Xena's dam is Tooradin Park Shanti a daughter of our former resident stallion Daiquiri GF. Her mother was by Wolfingham Jackson, who was by Jive Magic out of a Walt Disney I mare.
